Promotion of Organic Farming in two villages of Purulia

Both the villages (Karamara & Dandudi) of Chakaltore G.P., Purulia 1 Block are inhabited mostly by the people of Tribal communities. Continuous Training (with specialist), Hand holding, Capacitating and Follow up monitoring (both in Online and Offline mode) with the villagers (mainly women) make it successful. Their active engagements with us make it more Sound.
Cancer Screening Camp
SANTOSHPUR TRIBAL DEVELOPMENT AND HUMAN WATCH SOCIETY has successfully Organized a Cancer Screening Camp with INDIAN CANCER SOCIETY in assistance with St. MICHAEL CATHOLIC CHURCH & DEEPAK INDUSTRIES LIMITED (PROPRIETORS OF NEW ALLENBERRY WORKS) at Premnagar, Belepole, Howrah. Almost 90 people (mostly ST) has gone through Screening and needed Gynaecological Check Ups too. Thankfully nobody has been diagnosed as Postive.We all are looking forward to collaborate in future..
Afforestation and Alternative Livelihood Generation in the Flood Affected Parts of Howrah District
Santoshpur Tribal Development And Human Watch Society র আয়োজনেএকই দিনে পরপর দুটি অনুষ্ঠান।
১) হাওড়া শহরের বেলেপোল এ আদিবাসী অধ্যুষিত প্রেমনগর অঞ্চলে St. Michael Catholic Church এর হাতে গাছের চারা তুলে দেওয়া হয়।
২) গ্রামীণ হাওড়ার উদয়নারায়ণপুর এর বন্যাপ্রবন অভিরামপুর রামকৃষ্ণ সেবাশ্রম এর আয়োজনে গ্রামবাসীদের এবং আশ্রম কমিটির হাতে গাছের চারা তুলে দেওয়া হয়।
দুটি অনুষ্ঠান এই কর্তৃপক্ষ দ্বয়ের কাছে আমরা কৃতজ্ঞ। ভবিষ্যতে আরো বেশি কিছু করার ইচ্ছা রইল।

Afforestation and alternative livelihood generation in the cyclone affected parts of Mousumi Island, Sundarbans Organized by Santoshpur Tribal Development And Human Watch Society Funded By by Deepak Industries Limited (proprietors of New Allenberry Works) The project AIMS at systematic plantation of some specific salt resilient household or commercial plant species in several steps, followed up by proper intervention and inspection not only to arrest soil erosion but also to generate alternate livelihood for the local people.
